The New Phoenix

Temperature in Topeka, Kansas, at 4:30 p.m. central daylight time – 111 degrees. Humidity 16%.

Temperature in Phoenix, Arizona, at 4:30 p.m. mountain standard time – 112 degrees. Humidity 14%.

We are becoming the new Phoenix. If only we could compare equally as well come winter.

There is one major problem with our new Kansas summer. We do not have a swimming pool as I once did during my years in the Valley of the Sun. Time in the pool made time in the sun a lot more fun.
