Kelly’s Journey to Ireland

Giant's Causeway

Kelly at Giant's Causeway

It is with great joy that my daughter Kelly has returned from Ireland.  Her week-long stay was part of a Washburn University anthropology class with stays in Belfast and Derry in Northern Ireland and Dublin in Ireland.  Laura and I are thrilled she was able to get her first taste of travel outside the United States at such a young age.  Her stay was both informative and simply a lot of fun as any trip should be.  I am sure we will be seeing photos and reading about many such trips very soon.  For now, I encourage you to go to her blog site and read of experiences and enjoy her fine photographs.

As you will see, the trip took in many beautiful sites but also delved into the ugly conflict that has for years torn Northern Ireland.  From Kelly, I would expect nothing less than for her to want to see both sides.
