The Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational women’s golf tournament rotates between Lawrence’s Alvamar Golf Course and Manhattan’s Colbert Hills. Covering the KU team at what is still an outstanding public course in Lawrence is always fun. However, I really enjoy my two days in Manhattan every other year. Set in the Flint Hills west of Manhattan, every hole at the course is visually cool. Enjoy.
